HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
This written policy statement demonstrates TBT Piling (Sabah) Sdn Bhd’s commitment towards health, safety and the environment in all its activities. This policy applies to all the company’s employees and to the employees of sub-contractors, self-employed persons, and consultants working on behalf of the company, and employees of clients, consultants and contractors visiting the company’s premises.
This policy expresses that appropriate measures have been determined and applied.
The policy of TBT Piling (Sabah) Sdn Bhd is to provide high standards of health and safety at the workplace, to prevent, so far as is reasonably practicable, accidental loss that may result in:
- Personal injury
- Illness
- Damage to plant and property
- Impaired reputation
TBT Piling (Sabah) Sdn Bhd is a responsible company with regard to protecting the environment, where all activities carried out at the company’s prime locations and worksites at contracted locations are considered, where practicable, to prevent pollution at source, taking into consideration business objectives, employees’ welfare and the local community.
The senior management of TBT Piling (Sabah) Sdn Bhd is charged with the application and promotion of this policy, and to ensure that the company complies with statutory Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, associated approved Codes of Practice, and its duties under common law.

TBT Piling (Sabah) Sdn Bhd has developed and expanded a proper management team for the exclusive supply in the State of Sabah of Reinforced Concrete Piles under the registered Trademark “EC Piles”, manufactured in accordance to BS 8004: 1986 / BS EN 1992-1- 1:2004, and for the effective undertaking of foundation piling projects for both public and private sector clients.
The company recognizes that quality is paramount and that its reputation and potential profitability depend upon the positive commitment of its management to ensure that specified quality requirements are consistently achieved.

CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS POLICY
It is the policy of TBT Piling (Sabah) Sdn Bhd that all the stated and relevant implied obligations contained within a contract award or business agreement are to be fulfilled in their entirety, to the best of the company’s capabilities.
These obligations include, but are not limited to, the proper submittal of all required documentation, material samples and claims for payment, together with the timely completion of the works to the required standard, prompt satisfactory rectification of defects, and finalisation of contract or agreement.
